Bunker Livestock considers mare power a vital part of
our breeding program. Some say mares contribute more to a colt than
the stallion. Whether that be true or not, the broodmares listed below
make up a set of the highest quality breeding stock in the
intermountain west. As with our stallion
battery, the mares represented here are own daughters of AQHA Champions and AQHA World Champions, thus staying "close to the trunk of
the tree"! We like to refer to this type of mare as an ODC
(own daughters club) mare. ODC mares give you more
potential for true breeding genetics and their good foals are worthy of
adding to any breeding program. |
